Alexander was really nothing else than a big dot in history, it ended the elder classical age, and The Battle of Issus was not a hugely important battle, i would'nt call Darius III a great millitary commander, but Alexander prooved that tactics and not strategy can win a battle (sorry if i switch the two of them, you know what i mean)
the Battle of Stalingrad ended before it started... really... and i dont see battles that allready are won before they start as "changing world history"
I agree that Waterloo shaped Europe for atleast a 100 years...
1. Can't really settle on a first, but i would say siege of Leningrad and battle of Moscow.
2. Charles Martel's Franks defeating the Moors at Tours
3. Battle of Teutoberg Forrest 9.AD (beginning of the fall of the roman empire)
3. Battle of Gettysburg
The "Battle of the Bulge", I think.
Seems many people still fight it to this day (Raven... among others)

i disagree... the battle or the bulge was a fail before it stated (in the greater picture) the Germans did'nt had the gas to reach Antwepen which was their goal, and at that time, the waar was allready won...
